  1. I have had great success doing it like this, except ONE time. Just ONE of the times I put it in the freezer and when I went to pop the wax out with my butter knife it broke the entire candle in my hand. It crumbled everywhere and I had glass all over! But, out of like 8 times that isn't too bad of an outcome! Just want to give a heads up it just might break if fragile enough.

I use mine for storage as well!!! I put little candies in them around the holidays and I also use mine for jumbo eye pencils and single shadow pigments. 😀

  2. Great video Kristin! The product that I like to use to remove stickers and glue is called "Goo-Gone". A little bit goes a long way and it is pretty inexpensive (usually less than $5 for a bottle and the bottle will last FOREVER). You can get it the cleaning supply product aisle of drug store, grocery, and even at auto parts stores.

  3. Hey @Kristin Gehm I put my little mason jar candle glass in the freezer and it was not as easy as I hoped, haha. I got it out and had to pick at the wax with a knife to cut through it. I ended up even breaking the glass! haha. Do you think it has to do with it being in the freezer over night? Could I have had it in the freezer too long?

  4. Thanks so much for the video! We don't hbe a bath and bodyworks where I live here in Alaska.but I tryed this with an off brand and it works great!

  5. This was fate. I just ordered a bunch of candles from bath and body and was wondering how I can reuse the glass, and how to do it. Then I stumbled onto your video! I'm so happy! Thanks for sharing this!

  6. Love your videos! I am a new subscriber and I find your humor and honesty refreshing. Great idea. How long after you remove them from the freezer should you wait to get the wax out?

  7. Kristin hi,new subbie! If you have a plug in wax warmer, instead of buying the tarts, you can use the leftover candle pieces works great! Another easy way to get old wax out of your candles, pour boiling water in the glass container, let sit for several hours. Pops right out. The only thing about this method, don't pour the water down your drains, don't want any clogged drains. Toss outside. Here's smiling at ya, Cathy

  8. Hi, Kristin – Im a new follower/subscriber..I've never bought these candles but I buy the better homes and garden ones from walmart and have been saving those. I've never thought about putting in the freezer to remove the last bit of wax..thanks for the tip. I plan on reusing these for Christmas as gifts for coworkers or something since they have the lid that comes with them.
